We hope that everyone has
enjoyed the summer. Your past loyalty is appreciated and the staff is looking
forward to welcoming everyone back for the fall and winter seasons.
We are also proud to
announce that Oak Hills has been selected as one of Golf Digest’s “Best
Places to Play” in the 2008-09 edition. The selection was made from nearly
6,000 courses in North America evaluated by approximately 20,000 Golf Digest
readers.
Much of the reason for
this selection goes to the great condition of our golf course. A big and
well-deserved thank you goes to our superintendent Bud and his golf course
maintenance team. When you see them out and about give them a thumbs up for
their fine work and effort.
The summer has seen Tom
Powers, Byron Dalhaus and John Drinosky score hole-in-ones. Congratulations to
each.
Leagues:

The Monday men’s
league is off to a good start. Additional players are welcome. If you are
interested please inquire in the golf shop or just show up on any Monday
morning by 7:30 A.M.

Thursday Ladies
League. We are forming a Thursday morning league and hope to begin play on
September 18th. If interested please call the golf shop at
683-6830 and leave your name and telephone number or just stop by.
For
those of you who utilize the FSGA GHIN system renewals are due by the end of the
year. Anyone interested in establishing a handicap can get information in the
golf shop. Prices will be posted in the golf when available.
