Director of Golf
 June/July 2007...
Dear Friends,
Hope everybody is having a good summer. The leagues are going well.
The Monday league had a big party a couple of weeks ago. Everything went
very well. Thanks to all the help of the usuals, Mel Conk, Al Bailey,
Tim Armstrong, Rick Newome and the others that always help.
The ladies league would like to welcome their newest members, Judy Jones,
Karen Berch, Becky Jackson and Kristie Orinosky. The Ramblers are
in full swing. Our ladies league is in 4th place out of 11 teams.
Way to go girls, keep up the good work. Also we will have a Ramblers
event on July 5, 2007.
Keep on the lookout for a Oak Hills fun day which will happen in the summer.
Jim Neeley and Buzz Walker will be giving lessons. The barbecue will be
on and everybody will have a lot of fun playing golf.
If anybody has any interest in joining any leagues, please call the golf shop. The counter people can help you.
Also one last note: we are looking to start an afternoon scramble if you
have an interest please also call the shop.
That's all for now. Never lay up, hit them long and straight.
