Hi Everyone,
The leagues are going great!! We are eighty plus on Monday. Please make sure
that you are here on time so that our working people can hit a couple of putts
too.
For those that might be interested in joining the leagues, please call the
golf shop at (352) 683-6830 and any counter person can sign you up. Also, to see
how the leagues are scored, please log on to http://home.earthlink.net:80/~ypfcs3/Oak_Hills.html
to see how it is done.
I hope that everyone has seen that the GHIN handicap computer is at OAK
HILLS, and that you have paid for your 2007 HDCP. If you had a handicap at THE
DUNES and have not paid for 2007 at OAK HILLS you will be deleted. You need to
pay as soon as possible to keep yourself active in the system.
It's that time of year again! Thanks for making OAK HILLS your winter
vacation golf course. We now have new rental clubs, a USGA handicap system,
hats, shirts, socks and a full line of gloves due to arrive soon.
The Ladies League has been going very strong! They would like to welcome
their newest members, Sandra Chadon and Dorothy Cleary.
On March 1st they will have a "Choose Your Own Foursome" and on
March 15th and 22nd they will have their Club Championship. PHEW!!!! I think
most of these women work harder now then when they actually worked!!!
In closing, a BIG heartfelt thanks to all of you who comment so positively on
a daily basis about the improvements you see at OAK HILLS. It really means a
lot. It could not be done without the help of Karl Rothert and all the rest of
the OAK HILLS employees.
THANKS AGAIN and remember - Never lay up, hit it long and straight!!!
