Hello Everyone,
First of all, I would like to welcome back all of our friends who went
north. We are looking forward to warm winter in Florida.
The Monday Oak Hills Men's League is really expanding. We are up to almost
30 players and are still welcoming new members. The league tees off about 7:30
on Monday. For more information on joining, please call the golf shop at (352)
683-6830.
It is almost about that time of the year to renew your handicap (GHIN).
Payment for renewals is due in January. Also, Oak Hills will be re-rated
in October from both the mens and ladies tees by the Florida State Golf
Association. Soooooooo, come by and find out the new ratings.
Oak Hills as it's new fall rates to announce. Frequent Player Club
members will be paying $26.00 in the morning and $22.00 in the afternoon.
These rates are for 7 days a week and are inclusive of sales tax. The 2010
Frequent Player Club cards will be available for sale October 1st. First
time card holders will be charged $50.00 to join, while renewals will be
$41.00. These prices include sales tax and will entitle the purchaser to a
FREE Round of Golf.
It's that time of year again -- we will start to overseed in October.
The sprinklers will be on, so we need your patience while it is necessary
to make your golf course Great! The new rates will not go into effect
until we actually start cutting the rye grass.
