I hope this note finds everyone
well and that each of you had a wonderful holiday season.
Under the league news category we would like to welcome
the Wellington League. They started play with us during October on Thursday
mornings.
Our Oak Hills leagues play on Mondays at 8:00 AM (Men's
League), Tuesdays at 9:00 AM, Wednesdays at 10:00 AM, Fridays at 10:00 AM and
Saturdays at 9:00 AM. A Thursday Women's League plays at 8:00 AM.
Additional information for the Oak Hills leagues can be
provided by the golf shop or by just stopping by approximately 45 minutes before
play is scheduled to begin.
With the new year comes renewal time for the Frequent
Player Club cards and for the GHIN handicap service. Frequent Player Club
renewal is $40.00 and includes a complimentary round of golf and 20% off
subsequent rounds. It also gives 10% discount on golf shop items e.g. range
balls, gloves, hats, etc. The GHIN handicap system renewal or new is $23.00 for
a daily player and $19.00 with a Frequent Player Club membership card.
As usual our maintenance crew has done a fantastic job
keeping the course in good shape. Please help by filling divots and fixing ball
marks.
To close on a sad note, Ron Biedenkapp passed away
recently. Ron was a fixture at Oak Hills for many years. He was here often and
in fact performed many tasks over the years, of which included starter and
ranger, among many others. Ron will be missed and we extend our sympathies to
his family.
